" I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, I can change that(poverty). It depends upon how hard I want to work, and I decided that I would change it." - Dr. Ben Carson
What this quote means is that you can achieve anything if you believe in yourself. In order to be successful, you have to be persistent. You have to keep trying, and achieve your goals. An example of this quote in a good point of view is someone who decides to do their homework. That person is choosing to do the right things in order to be successful. A bad example on this would be someone who smokes. That person is choosing to harm themselves. That is choosing the wrong. Don't give up on your dreams to succeed. Do whatever it is that you can to be successful, choose to do the right things.
