What this quote means is that don't do anything that's not right and don't say anything that's not true. For example, if someone is telling you to ditch school with them. You know it's not the right thing to do so you don't go with them. That's choosing to do the wrong thing. Another example is like if you're listening to music in class. And the teacher catches you and you lie to them saying that you weren't when you really were. That's choosing to do the wrong thing because you know you're not suppose to listen to music in class first of all then you don't say the truth. Choose to do the right things and don't do anything that's not right and don't say anything that's not true.
