April Fool’s Day

April Fool’s is on April 1st. People playing April Fool jokes expose their prank by shouting April Fool. Some newspapers, magazines, and other published media report fake stories, which usually explained the next day or below the news section in small letters. It’s uncertain to say when it first started but it was around 1582, when France adopted the Gregorian calendar. France reformed its calendar, moving the start of the year from the end of March to January 1. The ones who failed to keep up with the change and stuck to the old week that fell between March 25th and April 1st had jokes played on them. April Fools isn’t a fun day to get pranked.
