" You can't be right by doing wrong; you can't be wrong by doing right. " - Thomas S. Monson
What this quote means is that if you do something wrong you can't be right about doing it, but when you do something right you can't be wrong about it. If you're doing something right you are not wrong for doing that. If you choose to do something wrong you won't be successful about it. For example on the bad point of view, someone who is smoking is choosing to do the wrong thing. They will continue doing it because they feel like if it's the right thing for them but it's not. That's choosing to do the wrong. Another example on the good point of view of this quote is someone who chooses to do their homework and classwork. They choose to do the right thing about it and turn it in because they know they are doing the right thing anyways and they can't be wrong about that. They are choosing to do the right and they might be rewarded about it for doing the right thing. Basically just choose to do the right thing for yourself because it's always better that way than getting into to trouble while doing the wrong things.
