theodore roosvelt quote

" Of all the work that is done or that can be done for our country, the greatest is that of education the body, the mind, and above all the characters, giving spiritual and moral training to those who in a few years are themselves to decide the destinies of the nation. " - Theodore Roosevelt

What this quote means is that you have to choose the right because that will make you a better person that will help you realize right from wrong. For example from the bad view of this quote is a person that smokes is choosing the wrong. They are harming their body, therefore, they are harming their character, and their personality. If you harm your character you aren't the same person you were before. All the bad choices you choose to do influence on who you start to become later. Another example of this quote from a good view is someone that does their homework. This person is choosing the right and is not harming their mind, in fact, they are feeding it with knowledge. If you want to be successful all you have to do is choose to do the right things for yourself.
