This quote means that a life full of integrity is better than a life full of lies. Telling the truth is the right thing to do. For example, if you have a test and you decide to cheat on it that's already one bad thing. If the teacher sees you cheating and asks you if you were cheating and you say you weren't when you really were that is already a lie right there. You need to choose the right and have the courage to say the truth. Another example would be if someone is handing you drugs, you have to have the courage to say no to them. To live your life with integrity those would be the three things you need.
